He ran 8:30.12 in the boys’ 3000m, to claim silver behind Callum Hawkins of Great Britain.
Earlier, Sycerika McMahon (Co Down) added a bronze medal to the silver she won yesterday.
She came third in the girls’ 200m individual medley, swimming 2:18.88, 2.4 seconds behind the winner, Alexandra Wenk of Germany.
