Katie Taylor arrives in Baku

Irish athletes continue to arrive in Baku and are settling into the Athlete Village. Katie Taylor arrived in with her father and coach Peter Taylor. They were joined by Triathlon’s Russell White and Aaron O’Brien and Karate’s Karen Dolphin.This afternoon Irish Boxing Team performance coaches, Billy Walsh, Zaur Antia and Gerry Storey entered Team Ireland HQ and Performance Medicine Centre in the village for a brief visit to familiarise themselves before arriving officially on the morning of 12th June from their Baku training camp.
