From 14 to 21 February 2027, Brașov, Romania hosts the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival. Across eleven disciplines (alpine skiing, snowboard, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, biathlon, ice hockey, short track, figure skating and more), 3,000+ young competitors from 45+ nations will compete at Olympic standards. For Irish winter athletes, EYOF is a critical opportunity to test themselves against Europe’s finest, experience Olympic protocols, and launch careers toward senior competition. The Festival combines elite competition with cultural exchange, education and athlete development – far more than a medal contest.This is where Europe’s next generation of winter Olympic champions begin their journey.
