Kelleher dined with Eventing team management and athletes in the Olympic dining hall and was given a tour around the international zone, athletes lounges, administrative and accommodation areas. He gave the athletes an interesting insight into life in Hong Kong, the team’s home for the next few weeks.
He was delighted to hear the riders were pleased with the arrangement put in place by the OCI and Horse Sport Ireland and that the riders, horses and grooms had settled in well after their long flight.
Performance Director, Virginia Elliott, will join the team on August 2nd.
