Allianz Ireland Announces New Brand Ambassador Partnership with Kate O’Connor

Allianz, title sponsor of the Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI) and Paralympics Ireland, is proud to announce a new brand ambassador partnership with record-breaking Irish heptathlete and Olympian, Kate O’Connor.

This new partnership is an extension of Allianz’s global commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic movements. Kate joins fellow Olympic and Paralympic icons Rhasidat Adeleke and Orla Comerford in the Allianz family, a move that underscores Allianz’s commitment to championing elite talent as it continues to expand its prestigious stable of athlete ambassadors.

Kate’s versatility and dedication mirror Allianz’s core values of excellence, integrity and being ‘there’ when it matters most. Her recent achievements have cemented her status as a world-class competitor, including a record-breaking silver medal at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, as well as a new National Record and a World Indoor Bronze.

Speaking on the announcement, Kate O’Connor said:

“I am delighted to join the Allianz team alongside such incredible athletes as Rhasidat and Orla. Allianz has a long history of supporting Irish sport at every level, and I am excited to work with them as I continue my 2026 season and begin the long-term road to the Los Angeles 2028 Games.”

Mark Brennan, Head of Marketing, Allianz Ireland added;

We are thrilled to officially welcome Kate O’Connor to the Allianz family. Kate is a perfect partner for us; her incredible versatility and dedication on the world stagefrom her record-breaking silver in Tokyo to her recent National Recordperfectly mirror our own values of excellence and being ‘there’ when it matters most. As a proud title sponsor of both the OFI and Paralympics Ireland, we are committed to supporting elite Irish talent, and we look forward to standing by Kate’s side throughout the 2026 season and on her journey to the Los Angeles 2028 Games.

As part of this partnership, Kate will continue to support the Allianz-sponsored ‘Dare to Believe’ Olympic schools programme, which brings the spirit of the Olympics into classrooms across Ireland. She will also get onboard with Allianz’s ‘Keep Playing’ campaign a pioneering initiative designed to address the critical issue of declining sports participation among young people.

With one in five children in Ireland currently dropping out of sport between primary and secondary school, Allianz is committed to reversing this trend through its sports partnerships, which enable over 60,000 children annually to engage with sport.

Allianz is proud to stand by Kate’s side as her 2026 season continues to build and as she looks ahead to representing Ireland on the world stage.
