Allianz Ireland Deepens Partnership with Rhasidat Adeleke as Logo Debuts on Race Kit

Team Ireland’s title sponsor Allianz Ireland has today announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Irish Olympic sprinter and national record holder Rhasidat Adeleke. In a milestone moment for the partnership, the Allianz logo will officially appear on Adeleke’s competition kit for the first time, marking a new chapter in a relationship that has grown alongside one of the most storied careers in Irish athletics.

The partnership first began in 2023 when Rhasidat was only 19 years old, focusing on community initiatives and brand storytelling. Following an extension in December 2025 that secured the partnership through the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle, today’s announcement represents the final evolution of that bond: Allianz will now accompany Rhasidat onto the track for the first time at the iconic Prefontaine Classic in Eugene on 3 July, part of the prestigious Wanda Diamond League series.

Rhasidat Adeleke commented:

“Allianz has been in my corner since the early days of my professional career, supporting me through both my wins and learning moments. To have them now appear on my race kit feels like a milestone in our journey. It’s more than just a logo; it represents a team that has believed in me from the start. I’m incredibly proud to wear the Allianz brand on the world stage as I continue to push my limits and represent Ireland.”

Mark Brennan, Head of Marketing, Allianz Ireland, added:

“Watching Rhasidat’s journey since we first joined forces in 2023 has been a source of immense pride for everyone at Allianz. Her dedication, resilience and commitment to excellence reflect qualities that inspire people both on and off the track. Expanding our partnership to include kit sponsorship is a natural next step, and we are proud to stand alongside her as she continues to represent Ireland on the world stage.

“At Allianz, we believe sport has a unique ability to build confidence, resilience and opportunity, particularly for young people. Rhasidat embodies all of those qualities, which is why this partnership has always been about much more than sponsorship. It is about supporting role models who inspire the next generation to believe in what is possible. When she steps onto the track, she carries with her not just the hopes of Ireland but also the unwavering support of the Allianz family.”

The partnership reflects Allianz Ireland’s broader commitment to supporting communities through sport, helping young people build confidence, resilience and lifelong participation. Through initiatives such as Dare to Believe and Keep Playing, Allianz continues to invest in programmes that encourage the next generation to stay active, pursue their ambitions and realise their potential.

This expanded agreement further strengthens Allianz Ireland’s long-standing support for Irish sport and its belief in the positive role sport can play in building stronger, healthier and more connected communities.

Rhasidat will continue to support the Allianz-sponsored Dare to Believe Olympic schools programme and Allianz’s Keep Playing campaign, designed to address the critical issue of declining sports participation among young people.
