23-year-old London Olympian, Annalise Murphy has won the 2013 Laser Radial European Championship this afternoon. Annalise won eight of the 10 starts, with her latest win in her final race of the series.
The Rathfarnham sailor finished comfortably ahead of Marit Bouwmeester (Nethelands) and Alison Young (Great Britain).
The European Championship is Annalise’s first major title and bodes well for the Rio Olympic Games in three years time.
