ASICS Olympic Clothing

ASICS have been working with the OCI, National Federation Performance Directors, and Athletes Commission over the past few years to ensure the quality, style and design of performance and team clothing for the Games in London is fit for purpose.

This has involved a number of  one to one meetings with Performance Directors and their represented athletes. Samples have since been produced and are currently being tested by the sports.

Products include the latest inner muscle compression clothing . There will also be a new colour/design range for 2012.

A major exercise in sizing matrix is also currently ongoing for athletes in Olympic House. In addition the OCI/ASICS have travelled to athlete training camps to assist in this process.

For example at the recent Tatteralls Eventing competition in Ireland and at the Boxing training camp in Sheffield.

Sonia O’Sullivan has been involved throughout the process as Chef de Mission and is pleased with the process to date.
