BIOGRAPHY

Dave Connell was an elite international boxing medalist, he travelled to the London 1948 Olympic Games as a reserve. He went on to win a featherweight bronze medal for Ireland at the 1949 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Oslo, cementing his status as one of Ireland's top post-war amateur boxers.
