BEIJING 2008: Coordination Commission Back In Beijing

Agenda
The Commission will meet with BOCOG from 24 to 26 October, moving through a very busy agenda that will include plenary sessions, working groups and a venue tour – which will allow the members of the Commission to gauge the progress being made on some of the key stadia to be used during the Beijing Games. During the plenary sessions, the Commission will hear reports on subjects such as venue operations, volunteers, education and culture, legacy, and the environment.

Stakeholders
With the Beijing Olympic Games a little under two years’ away, the focus for BOCOG is now well and truly turning from a planning phase to an operational client-focused phase. So that the members of the Coordination Commission can gain a better understanding of what BOCOG is planning to provide to the different stakeholders, the largest part of the meetings will be turned over to client-focused working groups covering the athletes, the Olympic Family, the media, the National Olympic Committees, the International Federations, spectators and sponsors.

Beijing 2008
