Bell performs well in Slalom

Victoria Bell improved on her 1st run of 56.26 in the girls Slalom at the European Youth Olympics in Liberec to finish in 48th position from a start list of 96 skiers.  Her 2nd run, 55.93, gave her a combined time of 1.52.18.

Chef de Mission Anne O’Connor said “This was an improved performance by Bell after her fall during the second run of her Giant Slalom on Monday. She can be proud of her achievement today, finishing in the top half of a talented group of competitiors. It should be noted that the Slalom course had 35 non finishes during both runs”

The race was won by Charlotta Saefvenberg, 1.39.32 (SWE) ahead of Giant Slalom winner Eli Plut,1.39.74 (SLO) and Sabrina Maier, 1.39.76 (AUT).
