Team Ireland EYOF Team Return Home

Team Ireland  returned home from the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia to a great reception in Dublin Airport yesterday.   Athletics (5)  and Swimming (5) won 10 medals and there were excellent performances from all of our athletes in Athletics, Cycling, Gymnastics, Judo and Swimming. Ryan 15th in Time Trial

Congratulations to Team Ireland’s Caroline Ryan who put in an excellent performance to finish 15th in this morning’s Women’s Cycling time trial in a time of 33:29.55. The race was won by Ellen Van Dijk  from the Netherlands in a time of 32:26:87.
