Chinese Ambassador visits Olympic House

Mr Liu and his Embassy staff are commited to helping the Olympic Council as they prepare for the forthcoming Olympic Games in Beijing in August 2008.Mr Liu said “I look forward to seeing the Irish Team compete in Beijing this year.China is looking forward to welcoming all National Olympic delegations for a very spectacular Games.” OCI President Pat Hickey said “that the OCI have enjoyed excellent support from the Embassy , the organising committee in Beijing, and the Chinese Olympic Olympic Committee, and looked forward to a successful Games in China. He wished Mr Liu every success in his new role as Ambassador of the peoples Republic of China to Ireland”
