Ireland’s Ciara Ginty will compete in the Women’s Light Final (57-60kg) at 9.45am (Irish Time) on Tuesday 26th August.
She had a magnificent and close fought semi final win over Turkish boxer Esra Yildiz wining 2-0.

Irish team manager Stephen Connolly praised the performances of Ginty adding that Irish coach Billy McClean is doing a fantastic job with Ireland’s three boxers in Nanjing.
He also hailed the influence of Irish coach Gerry Storey on Irish women’s boxing on another historic day for the sport.
