Mullingar runner Martin Fagan set a new personal best as he recorded a time of 28.18.30 finishing 24th, while Mark Kenneally finished 29th in a time of 28.55.49.
At the same meet, Mary Cullen ran a superb 32:21.42 in the women’s 10,000m when finishing 10th in a top class field.
