On the 14th August Cycling Ireland Performance Director Phil Leigh will have 4 athletes taking part in the London 2012 Road Cycling Test event, with the team staying at their proposed 2012 training base at Lensbury, Twickenham.

Meanwhile Irish cyclist Daniel Martin was second in today’s stage of the Tour of Poland, and moves up in general classification to fourth place, seven seconds behind the leader.
He was prominent in the tough finale and crossed the line three seconds behind the Slovenian victor Peter Sagan, who takes over the leaders yellow jersey.
He is five seconds clear of closest rival Marcel Marcato with Martin now a further two seconds back. Three stages remain in the race.
