The Assembly will be opened in the presence of HE Abdullah Gül, the President of the Turkish Republic.
EOC President Patrick Hickey and Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi will also be greeting IOC President Jacques Rogge, who is the traditional host of honour at the General Assembly of the EOC, Association which he led for over ten years.
On this occasion, the candidate cities for the 2016 Olympic Games will have a last opportunity to meet the European delegates.
