EOC president Patrick Hickey and his team met at the National Library, Minsk, 8th September for their third EOC Executive meeting of the year.
EOC members were invited by the NOC of Belarus, who this year celebrate their 20th anniversary.
NOC president Alexander Lukashenko, who is also the president of the Republic of Belarus, met the members of the executive of the Olympic Movement of Europe.
The EOC meeting was overshadowed by the tragic aircrash in which ice hockey athletes lost their lives.
President Hickey and the Executive Committee members expressed their sympathy to George Katulin, secretary general of the NOC and to the families of those who lost their lives.
