Ireland’s Olympic Trap Shooter Derek Burnett won a Bronze medal at the 2013 European Championships
in Suhl Germany after qualifying on joint 3rd with a score of 122/125 +9+13/15+12/15.
The Gold Medal was won by the Croatian Josip Glasnovic with a score of 124/125 + 14/15 +14/15 and the Silver Medal was won by the Italian London 2012 Olympic Silver medallist Massimo Fabbrizi with a score of 122/125+14/15+10/15.
In this event Wayne Byrne placed 56 with a score of 115/125 and Philip Murphy placed 71 with a score of 109/125. Newcomer and junior shooter Ian O’Sullivan placed a great 12th position in the Junior trap category with a score of 117/125. Aoife Gormally placed 31 with a score of 64/75 in the womens trap category.
