This weekend the Ice Skating Association of Ireland will be represented by two skaters at the FBMA Trophy in Abu Dhabi. The competition is organised by the UAE Ice Sports Federation and will be held 3-4 April 2015 at the Zayed Sports City Ice Rink.
Clara Peters (23) will participate in the Senior Ladies event. The Terenure native recently claimed her sixth Irish senior national title and this will be her final event of the season.
Ciara Hoey (16) is entered in the Junior Ladies category and she took her second Irish junior national gold medal last month despite having to sit out most of this season through injury.
Both ladies will skate their short programmes on Friday evening with their respective free skating to follow on Saturday afternoon.
Brona Nic Gabhann who was previously announced as an entrant in the Advanced Novice Ladies has withdrawn.
