7th Feb 1993 – 10th Feb 1993
About
Team Ireland participated in the inaugural Winter European Youth Olympic Days in Aosta, Italy, in February 1993. For Team Ireland, participation in Aosta represented an important step in the development of winter sport pathways and offered young athletes valuable experience in international competition.
While Team Ireland did not achieve a podium finish, participation in the event helped establish the country's presence at winter multi-sport competitions and laid the foundations for future involvement in Winter EYOF and Winter Youth Olympic Games programmes.
