Team Ireland competed at the Lillehammer 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games with a single athlete, alpine skier Phil Kelleher. Kelleher represented Ireland in four alpine skiing events: Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G, and Alpine Combined.
His strongest result came in the Alpine Combined event, where he finished 29th overall. He also secured a 33rd-place finish in the Slalom and completed the Super-G in 45th place.
