Gymnast Kieran Behan performed superbly at the inaugural European Games in Azerbaijan today, qualifying for the individual floor final in Baku.
Behan finished fifth of 78 competitors in qualification in the floor exercise, securing one of just six final places.
The 26-year-old lies 18th in the all-round competition after three disciplines, which is the last qualification spot for the final.
Daniel Fox is 48th overall.
Ellis O’Reilly is 50th in the women’s all-round competition after two events. Nicole Mawhinney is 55th, with Tara Donnelly 74th.
