Horse Sport Ireland Awards at Croke Park

Horse Sport Ireland today celebrated their outstanding equestrian year with an Awards ceremony at Croke Park.    Cian O’Connor re-lived his medal winning performance in London by jumping a replica fence on the pitch of Croke Park.   Cian received an Award for his outstanding performance, along with Ireland’s Paralympic Equestrian Team.    Ireland’s eventing Team who finished 5th at the Olympic Games were also honored along with the winners of Ireland’s seven European underage medals.   Modern Pentathlon was also featured with Natalya Coyle being honored for her ninth place at the Olympics and Arthur Lanigan-O’Keeffe for his World junior bronze medal.

The OCI was represented at today’s awards by our President – Pat Hickey,  Hon. General Secretary – Dermot Sherlock and our CEO – Stephen Martin.
