IOC Coordination Commission visits Rio for the last inspection

Our President Pat Hickey in his role as IOC Executive Member and Member of the IOC Coordination Commission for the Rio Olympic Games is in Rio with the IOC CoComm for their last inspection before the Games. This is the 10th visit to Rio of the IOC CoCom. They have a very busy schedule.

The photo was taken at Deodoro Olympic Stadium which is directly opposite the Canoe Slalolm venue. The following sports will be competing from Deodoro:-

Modern Pentathlon
Mountain Bike
Rugby
Shooting
Whitewater Stadium

With only 116 days to go until Games time the Commission has expressed confidence as the Municipality continues full steam ahead to make all the venues ready in time.
