They lie 3.33 seconds behind leaders Canada, but just two hundredths of a second behind recent rivals Australia. Team manager Siobhan Hoey believes they can be overtaken.
Aoife Hoey said “We were nervous on the first run but all nervousness has gone now. We want to do better tomorrow and are really buzzing with our second run, 17th. Hopefully we can improve our overall position”
