Irish boxers prepare for European’s

Ireland will meet France over two legs at the Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork and the National Stadium in Dublin on May 3rd and 5th next.

 

The Ireland (male) London 2012 squad of John Joe Nevin, Paddy Barnes, Michael Conlan, Darren O’Neill and Adam Nolan and current European champion Joe Ward have been called up to the Irish squad

 

Irish head coach Billy Walsh said that the internationals would provide Ireland with an ideal opportunity for competitive action ahead of the European Championships in Minsk, Belarus in June.
