The road to LA28 has taken another major step forward, with registration now open for the first Olympic Games ticket draw.
Supporters hoping to attend the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028 must register in advance to be included in the ticketing process. Registration gives fans the chance to be assigned a time slot to purchase tickets during Drop 1, which begins in April 2026.
This marks the starting point of public ticket sales for LA28, and early registration is essential.

How the LA28 Ticket Draw Works
Register for the ticket draw from now until 18 March 2026. Registration is required even if you are already signed up to receive LA28 emails.
Check your inbox between 31 March and 7 April 2026 to learn whether you have been assigned a ticket purchase time slot.
Purchase tickets during your assigned time slot. Time slots for Drop 1 begin on 9 April 2026.
Once registered, you remain entered for all future ticket draws until you reach the maximum of 12 tickets purchased. You do not need to register again.
Team Ireland in Long Beach
Team Ireland has confirmed that Team Ireland House for LA28 will be located in Long Beach, creating a central home for Irish athletes, families, supporters and partners during the Games.

Subject to final approval from LA2028 these are ordinarily limited to two tickets per athlete per round.
