Athletes, Team Leaders, and the Irish Media will all have an opportunity to gain an insight into the London 2012 Games and Ireland’s preparations in particular over the next four weeks.
Led by Sonia O’Sullivan and Stephen Martin, OCI HQ, Olympic sports team leaders, prospective team members and the Irish media will be involved in important visits and conferences in November and December 2011.
The OCI will lead a visit to London on the 29-30th November for Sports Team Leaders, an orientation visit to London for Irish tv, radio and press on the 5-6th December, and will host an athlete conference in Newcastle Co Down on the 9-10th December 2011.
In addition, and with the support of Olympic sponsor Proctor and Gamble team member’s “Mum’s +1” will be hosted at a special gathering in Newcastle, to coincide with the athlete conference, and hear details on a special offer of support for those travelling to the London Games.
