Following in the footsteps of Scott Evans who broke into the top 25 of the World Rankings last week, Chloe and Sam Magee have now worked their way to a career high of 24 in the World Rankings.
The Irish players have had some great results recently with Scott beating the world number 15 Hu Yun of Hong Kong to make it into the last 16 of the 2015 All England Premier Super Series event. The Magees also had their best run of form to date when they made the semi-finals of the German Open Grand Prix Gold event where they beat World number 10 pairing of Michael Fuchs and Birgit Michels of Germany.
The players will soon be going into the Olympic qualification phase where their top ten tournament results will count towards qualification. They can now set their goals towards chasing the world top 20 ranked players as they start their Olympic qualification journey.
