It was an outstanding achievement and means that Morrissey has qualified for the Youth Olympic quarter finals. His opponent is Yuki Bhambri fro India, a grand slam winner.
Morrissey and Coach Owen Casey have been very systematic in their preparations since they arrived in Singapore, especially in terms of heat acclimitisation and game strategy.
It really has paid off to date, as they has passed all expectations for this tournament.
