Leading footwear and apparel representatives from New Balance met with Olympic Council of Ireland and National Federations over the past few days to further discussions on the design, technical clothing for performance, training and recovery elements, and timelines for the Team Ireland kit for Baku 2015 and Rio 2016.
Ireland are in the privileged position of being the only National Olympic Committee sponsored by New Balance.
New Balance were represented by Deirdre Fitzgerald – VP Apparel, Tom Corleo -VP Running, Portia Blunt – Apparel Innovation Manager, Evie Moe – Creative Design Manager, Dan Green – Promo Apparel Manager, Jessica Lovelace – Sr. Apparel Designer and Keith Kelly -Global Integrated Marketing Manager and the OCI by Rio 2016 Chef de Mission Kevin Kilty, Baku 2015 Chef de Mission Dermot Henihan, Stephen Martin and Martin Burke.
