Team Ireland competed at the 1995 European Youth Olympic Days in Bath, United Kingdom, continuing Ireland's growing success at Europe's premier youth multi-sport event. Ireland enjoyed one of its strongest performances to date, winning five medals across athletics, swimming, and hockey.
Athletics played a major role in the medal haul, with Gareth Turnbull securing silver in the men's 1500m, Maria Lynch winning silver in the women's 1500m, and Gráinne Redmond claiming bronze in the women's 100m hurdles.
In the pool, Leonore Kelleher added a silver medal in the women's 100m butterfly, while the Women's Hockey Team secured silver in the team competition. These performances helped Ireland finish the Games with four silver medals and one bronze medal, placing the nation 28th in the medal table.
