Team Ireland competed at the 2003 Winter EYOF in Bled, Slovenia, continuing the country's participation in Europe's premier winter multi-sport event for young athletes. Participation offered Irish athletes valuable international experience against the strongest junior competitors in Europe. Although Team Ireland did not win a medal, involvement in Bled formed an important part of Ireland's winter athlete development pathway.
