The 4th Winter European Youth Olympic Days (EYOD) were held in Poprad-Tatry, Slovakia, from 6-12 March 1999. The Poprad-Tatry Games marked another important step in the development of Irish winter sports athletes. Poprad-Tatry 1999 remains an important chapter in Team Ireland's winter EYOF history, continuing the foundations laid in Aosta 1993 and Sundsvall 1997.
