The 14th Winter European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) was held in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, from 10-15 February 2019.
Team Ireland sent a small but talented alpine skiing team to the 2019 Winter EYOF in Sarajevo & East Sarajevo, continuing Ireland's growing involvement in winter Olympic sports. The event was staged in the city that hosted the 1984 Winter Olympic Games and provided young athletes with a valuable Olympic-style competition environment. Ireland was represented by two alpine skiers, Elle Murphy and Matt Ryan, both competing in the slalom and giant slalom disciplines.
