Team Ireland Olympic Sport Awards Launch Public Nomination Phase

The Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI) today announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 Team Ireland Olympic Sport Awards, marking the next phase of this year’s campaign to celebrate excellence across Irish Olympic sport.

This year’s nomination phase includes a direct appeal to the public to get involved and help shape the shortlist. Members of the public can nominate in three categories: Event of the Year; Image of the Year; and the Community Impact Award.

The OFI and media partner Off the Ball encourage supporters of Irish Olympic sport to consider standout events hosted in Ireland, the most emotive and outstanding images that capture the spirit of Team Ireland, and the people whose work has made a meaningful difference in their communities.
