As the OCI have received a new mini van from the International Olympic Committee they decided to present the Irish Amateur Boxing Association with the existing mini bus. The bus was rebranded with the Boxing Ireland logos and will be a tremendous benefit to the Boxing Association for transporting boxers to various competitions around Ireland and abroad.
Pat Hickey presented the bus to President Tommy Murphy, CEO Fergal Carruth, and Dominic O’Rourke, Director of Boxing, also present from OCI were First Vice President, Willie O’Brien Honorary General Secretary, and Dermot Sherlock.
The OCI are pleased to continue the great relationship with the Boxing Association that it has done so for many years.
