Seamus O’Connor reflects on his superb performances at the 2015 World Snowboarding Championship.
O’Connor produced the best slopestyle performance of his career in the semi-finals and in doing so qualified with the second highest score, 90.33, for the final. On reflection today he said,
” I was really happy with how I rode in the slopestyle qualifiers; being able to land my best slopestyle performance yet, earning me a direct position into the finals. However yesterday seemed not to be my day as I was unable to land a run all through practice and continuing into my competition runs. I am slightly disappointed with my 10th place finish, but am now looking forward to the next event!”
O’Connor and coach Sam Wilkinson will be staying in Europe to compete in the EUROPEAN OPEN at LAAX, Switzerland between January 29th – February 1st, 2015
Riders can look forward to a brand new superpipe and innovative slopestyle course up on Crap Sogn Gion mountain.
