Olympic Day Innovation

To Celebrate Olympic Day in Ireland , 23 June, the Olympic Council of Ireland has launched their new app.

The app provides easy to read and up to-date news direct from the OCI website.

The video content is direct from the OCI channel on YouTube which will be a key channel for OCI news in the run-up to and during games times.

Olympic Day was introduced in 1948 to commemorate the birth of the Modern Olympic Games on 23 June 1894 at the Sorbonne in Paris.
The goal was to promote participation in sport across the globe regardless of age, gender or athletic ability.
All around the world National Olympic Committees are celebrating Olympic Day in a variety of ways.
