The 35th European Olympic Committees (EOC) Seminar & International Olympic Committee Olympic Solidarity Forum takes place in Nicosia, Cyprus 23 – 24 May 2014. Delegates from the 49 NOCs of Europe will be present for the annual EOC Seminar which begins tomorrow.
EOC President, Pat Hickey will open the Seminar. He will also deliver the keynote speech on Autonomy and Good Governance as the IOC delegate for autonomy in his position as IOC Executive Board Member.
The organisers of the inaugural Baku 2015 European Games will also be present, along with other important upcoming sports events organisers. There will be two workshops, one for major sports events and the second will be dedicated to the Olympic Solidarity Forum organised by IOC Olympic Solidarity Director Pere Miro and his team from Lausanne
