The purpose of the evening is to ensure these service providers’ knowledge and experience is utilised to give feedback on the papers and presentations on the following in the lead up to the Beijing Games.

The innovative IZone software programme will be demonstrated at the Seminar. This system assists injury record management and should be of great interest to the attendees.

• Update an Olympic Games planning by the Chef de Mission
• Clarification of the Roles and Responsibilities of the OCI head Medic / Physio and sports science support staff pre, during and post Olympic Games and their
• Interface with NGB Science / Medical support staff
• Proposals for
o a software programme to record injury management
o medical screening and physiotherapy musclo-skeletal screening systems
o the part-time employment OCI doctor 2006 -08 and their role and remit and interface with national federation doctors.
• Proposals for the professional development workshop programmess between 2006 -08 for
o Psychology
o Nutrition / Physiology
o Medical / Physiotherapy
• Proposals for Olympic ‘Teamship’ weekends for 2006/07 and 2008 and an update on OCI Team Manager, Coach and Athlete professional development programmes.
