Both Watkins and Watson have been given Olympic Scholarships from the OCI to assist their Olympic qualification campiagns.

Barry Watkins’ main competitions in 2011 will be the World Cup Series starting in May in Poznan, followed by the European Championships( Belgrade) and the World Championships ( Szeged) in August; an Olympic qualifier. Sam Watson’s Eventing season will include the Badminton Horse Trials (April) and the European Championships in August (Luhmuhlen, German -an Olympic qualifier) in 2010. He will also take part in the Tattersall event in Ireland in May. A priority for Watson will be to use the resource to cover coaching and science and medical support around his programme.
