Ireland's oldest Olympian Dorothy Dermody (McCormack) passed away very close to her 103rd Birthday.  Dorothy a fencer from Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary was recently awarded a medal of honour from the Olympic Council of Ireland for her participation at the 1948 Olympic Games in London.    The family of Dorothy Dermody accepted the medal on her behalf.   […]
