Each sport requires the the competitor to be in peak physical condition and with three such individual sports it calls on the athlete to commit to a training schedule that is second to none. Ireland’s leading triathletes Emma Davis and Gavin Noble, continued their chase for Olympic qualification over the past week with Davis recording her best result of the year to take 10th place in the Tongyeong Triathlon World Cup in South Korea on Saturday (26th April), and Noble finishing 20th in the Pontevedra European Cup in Spain the previous weekend (19th April).
