Olympic Torch finally arrives in Dublin

The Torch arrived in Dublin at 8am to a tremendous crowd who had lined the streets of Howth from 6.30am where the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins welcomed the first Torchbearer Cillian Kirwan on stage with the Torch.

The Torch continued on a convoy to Croke Park before it started Dublin relay.
Large crowds turned out in St. Stephen’s Green to see the final runner Sonia O’Sullivan arrive with the Torch.
