The Brazilian Embassy paid a visit to the Olympic Council of Ireland headquarters today. Elza Marcelino de Castro, Deputy Ambassador of the Brazilian Embassy in Dublin accompanied by Antonio Neto.
They met with our President – Pat Hickey and Executive Committee Member, and Chef de Mission for Rio 2016 – Kevin Kilty along with our CEO – Stephen Martin. The meeting was to discuss preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and the pre-training camp to be held in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais State of Brazil. The OCI will be liaising closely with the Brazilian Embassy between now the Rio 2016.
