Pat Hickey President of European Olympic Committees presented to President Jacques Rogge a painting by Olaga Volha Plashko at the EYOF 2013 with Athlete Adam King Track & Field representing Ireland. Each country had an athlete present for the presentation.
Speaking at the ceremony in Utrecht Pat Hickey says “The reason you are here is because of this man. He was an athlete. He was one of you, an Olympian who competed in three Olympic Games. This is the last EYOF before he end of his mandate”
The gift was a symbol of appreciation from all the National Olympic Committees of Europe to thank President Rogge for creating the EYOF.
