Coaches play a critical role in the preparation and support of high performance athletes at major competitions around the world. It should be noted that National Federation performance staff are recieving a wider range of educational programmes delivered in a more collaborative programme by the Institutes of Sport IIS, SINI and through Olympic specific workshops and conferences by the Olympic Council.The OCI will be holding a Coaches seminar on the 8th March, followed by a London 2012 Conference for performance staff at Tollymore Mountain Centre on the 6/7th April, in collaboration with IIS and SINI.
