The team consisted of Brian O’Sullivan, Clodagh Flood, Brendan Gibbons and Mary Kate McDowell. Swim coach Paul Donavon said that “the team performed well and came close to making the final.The competition consisted of three heats ( 24 teams) with the 8 fastest times making the finals”.
Their time of 8:17.77 was in touching distance of the eight fastest team Slovenia 8:16.00 and 9th fastest Switzerland 8:16.29. Full results and individual split times click here
